Join us in the Popcorn Pantry kitchen for an adult cooking class with Leiths Diploma trained Anna and team.

Some classes are small and very hands-on, covering lots of tips and techniques, whereas others are super social, fun and have more demonstration aspects. All evening classes include wine and often specialist drinks depending on the theme of the class and/or non-alcoholic spritzes.

  • Tapas & Vermouth Night

    6:30 PM – 10:30 PM | £85pp

    Join Anna and Masterchef: the Professionals’ Georgia in the Popcorn Pantry kitchen for a social evening spent preparing a full spread of classic Spanish tapas. We’ll combine hands-on cooking with demonstrations to master each element—from the slow-cooked centre of a tortilla to the perfect crisp on a salt cod fritter—before sitting down to eat together.

    On the Menu:

    • The Classics: Learn the techniques behind an authentic Spanish Tortilla and the ultimate way to prepare Gambas al Ajillo (garlic prawns).

    • Tapas Essentials: Master the preparation for creamy, crisp Croquetas and light Buñuelos de Bacalao (salt cod fritters).

    • Sides & Sauces: Preparing blistered Padrón Peppers and a punchy, handmade Aioli from scratch.

    • The Tasting: We’ll explore a selection of different vermouths, sampling various styles to see how they pair with the food.

    Once the cooking is finished, we’ll sit down to enjoy the full selection of tapas together. The meal is accompanied by the vermouth tasting, a glass of wine, or a seasonal non-alcoholic spritz. It’s a great way to master new techniques and enjoy the connections made over a shared table.

  • Paella & Basque Cheesecake Night

    6:30 PM – 10:30 PM | £85pp

    Join Anna and Masterchef: The Professionals’ Georgia for a fun evening in the kitchen dedicated to the bold, sun-drenched flavors of Spain. This session focuses on the art of the perfect socarrat and the secrets behind the world’s creamiest cheesecake, followed by a relaxed dinner with drinks.

    On the Menu:

    • The Welcome: You'll be greeted with a glass of chilled Cava or a fresh White Peach Sangria and some little Spanish "pintxo" snacks to enjoy while we run through the evening’s plans.

    • The Paella: You’ll learn the foundations of an authentic Paella (meat, mixed, seafood or vegetarian). We’ll master the "sofrito," choose the right rice, and learn the technique to achieve that coveted socarrat—the delicious, caramelized golden crust at the bottom of the pan.

    • Basque Cheesecake: We’ll bake the iconic "burnt" cheesecake from San Sebastián. Known for its scorched top and gooey, melt-in-the-mouth center, it’s a showstopper that is surprisingly simple once you know the tricks.

    Once the cooking is done, we’ll sit down to enjoy the meal together with a fresh salad and some regional Spanish wine or a non-alcoholic botanical spritz. It’s a great way to master new recipes and enjoy the connections made over a shared table.

  • Pasta & Spritz Night

    6:30 PM – 10:30 PM | £85pp

    Join Anna and Rome-trained Masterchef Georgia for a social evening in the kitchen dedicated to making a proper pasta feast from scratch. This session focuses on the process of making authentic egg pasta and mastering classic Roman sauces, followed by a relaxed dinner with drinks.

    On the Menu:

    • You’ll be greeted with a glass of cava or a non-alcoholic spritz and offered some nibbles whilst we chat through the menu ahead.

    • The Pasta: You’ll mix, knead, and roll your own fresh pasta dough. We’ll make tagliatelle and play with some other pasta shapes too.

    • The Sauces: The holy trinity of Roman sauces - we’ll prepare creamy Cacio e Pepe and Carbonara and a punchy Amatriciana sauce, using the traditional techniques that Georgia learnt in her training in Rome to get that perfect emulsion.

    • The Sides: Fresh homemade Focaccia and a crisp, seasonal Salad to balance out the rich pasta flavours.

    • Dolce: We’ll finish a refreshing Sgroppino (lemon sorbet with optional prosecco and vodka splash), accompanied by some homemade amaretti biscuits.

    • Drinks: We’ll mix up Spritzes and you’ll have the chance to try Aperol or Hugo Spritzes or a perhaps a lesser known one such as Select, one of the original Venetian spritzes.

    • We always have a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks to try too.

    Once the cooking is done, you’ll sit down to enjoy the meal together with some wine or a non-alcoholic spritz. It’s a great way to master new recipes and enjoy the connections made over a shared table.

  • Tacos & Churros Night

    6:30 PM – 10:30 PM | £85pp

    Join Anna and Masterchef: the Professionals’ Georgia for a social evening in the kitchen dedicated to making a proper taco feast from scratch. This session focuses on the process of making authentic corn tortillas and balancing fresh, punchy flavours, followed by a relaxed dinner with drinks.

    On the Menu:

    ·       The Tacos: You’ll mix, press, and cook your own soft corn tortillas. Once you’ve made them yourself, it’s hard to go back to the shop-bought version.

    ·       The Fillings: We’ll prepare Chipotle chicken and spicy black beans, served alongside a slow-cooked Beef Birria, pre-made by Anna.

    ·       The Sides: Making fresh Guacamole and Pico de Gallo salsa to bring the whole feast together.

    ·       Churros: We’ll make homemade churros, roll them in cinnamon sugar and make a delicious accompanying chocolate dipping sauce.

    ·       Drinks: We’ll mix up Margaritas to get the evening started and always have wine and a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks on offer too.

    Once the cooking is done, we’ll sit down to enjoy the meal together -it’s s a great way to master new recipes and enjoy the connections made over a shared table.
